BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's rugby team suffered its first loss of the 2019 fall season, 43-10, Saturday afternoon to Bloomsburg University.
 
The Golden Bears (3-1 overall) had won their first three games before falling to the Huskies.
 
Senior Lauren Herman (Clinton, N.J./North Hunterdon) and junior Leah Smaha (Hopatcong, N.J./Lenape Valley Regional) recorded one try each for KU.
 
Kutztown has wrapped up fall competition and will await the spring campaign.
