KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's tennis team celebrated the careers of two seniors at Wednesday's final match of the season. KU took on non-conference foe Harford Community College, but dropped a 6-3 final at Keystone Courts.
 
Mackenzie Delp (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) and Kara Urland (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) were honored pre-match as KU's two seniors this year.
 
Delp was 1-of-2 singles winners for the Golden Bears Wednesday. She won 9-8 in her one-set matchup at No. 5 singles to close her KU career.
 
Alicia Pursell (Hamburg, Pa./Hamburg Area) won in both singles and doubles. She won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, and teamed with Yasmeen Malik (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) at No. 2 doubles for an 8-5 win.
 
Kutztown closed its season Wednesday night with a 2-13 record as it returns six players for the 2018-19 season.
