HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Shadimon Navarro (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) and Ashley Carter (Eynon, Pa./Valley View) led the Kutztown University women's tennis team in doubles action on Thursday. The duo won four games at the No. 3 flight to highlight KU's 9-0 setback to Farimont State University in Hilton Head.
 
In singles action, Elyssa Tomczyk (Plainville, Conn./Plainville) won a team-high nine games in her 6-4, 7-5 setback, including a tiebreaker in the second set.
 
Kara Urland (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) won six games at No. 4 in a 6-4, 6-2 loss to cap KU's top performers.
 
The Golden Bears wrap up spring break tomorrow, Friday, March 16, against Quincy University at 8 a.m.
