KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's basketball team has two more games before it enters the holiday break. KU hits the road to take on Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division foes in Mercyhurst University tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 18, and then Gannon University the following day, Wednesday.

Tip-off against the Lakers is at 3 p.m., while the Golden Knights is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Golden Bears (6-4 overall, 1-2 PSAC) are coming off a 100-86 victory over Wilmington University in non-conference play last Saturday, Dec. 15. It was the second-most points scored by KU this season, highlighted by three Golden Bears recording at least 21 points.

Moe Williams (Townsend, Del./Life Center Academy) set a new career-high with 26 points, and also added 20 rebounds, becoming just the second player in program history to record a 20-and-20 game. His 20 rebounds is the most in a single game since 1965. He was also just one assist shy of his career-high, finishing with four. Williams leads the PSAC with 10.7 rebounds per game.

Anthony Lee (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) tied Williams with a game-high 26 points in 40 minutes of action. The reigning PSAC Athlete of the Week also added six rebounds and tied a career-high with seven assists. He ranks second in Division II with 28.4 points per game.

Ricky Hicks (Coatesville, Pa./Polytech) recorded 21 points and nine assists, both career-highs. He finished 7-for-10 from the field overall, 2-of-3 from three-point land and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line in 32 minutes.

Facundo Arens (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Bahia Blanca) was the fourth Golden Bear in double-figures, going 6-for-6 from the floor for 13 points. Da'Quan Granberry (Linwood, Pa./Chichester) contributed nine points in a season-high 20 minutes.

The Kutztown offense ranks second in the PSAC in scoring at 88.5 ppg. It will need to continue its high-scoring ways in the upcoming two-game set. Mercyhurst and Gannon rank first and second respectively in the conference in scoring defense. The Lakers allow just 56.6 ppg while the Golden Knights give up 63.3 ppg.

Kutztown will have 10 days off after Wednesday night's game at Gannon. It will next play on Saturday, Dec. 29, hosting West Chester University at 3 p.m. at Keystone Arena.
