KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's bowling team downed Morgan State University 978-879 in its second-to-last match of the day to highlight its day one performance at the Mount Saint Mary's Invite in Waynesboro.
KU totaled 900+ pins in four of its five matches on the day, despite going 1-4, setting itself up in second place headed into tomorrow's positional round. Kutztown averaged 184.5 pins per game on the day, totaling 4,612 pins over the day's five matches.
Angela Kozma (Beachwood, N.J./Toms River South) led Kutztown with a frame average of 195.4 pins per frame, posting a high-game of 259 against Morgan State.
Keanna Delp (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area), who like Kozma bowled in all five matches, rolled her way to a frame average of 184.2.
Alexis Case (Ocean, N.J./Ocean Township) rounded out KU's top-three with a frame average of 183.0 pins per frame.
Kutztown will open tomorrow's positional round pitted against No. 13 Saint Francis (PA) to begin the final round of the Mount Saint Mary's Invite.
