Women's Rugby Remains Unbeaten by Defeating Temple

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's rugby team had its closest game of the season, but just as it did the three games prior, KU came out on top, defeating Temple University 26-5 last Saturday morning in Philadelphia.
 
The Golden Bears remain unbeaten at 4-0 overall.
 
Tamlyn Cowan (Jefferson, N.J./Jefferson Township) led the charge with two tries. Aysia Grondahl (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) and Ana Malafu (Kihei, Hawaii/Maui ) each added one try for KU. Nicolle Dudkewic (Effort, Pa./Pleasant Valley) tallied three conversions.
 
Kutztown now has one week off before its next game at the University of Delaware on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m.
