KU Game Notes | Live Stats

Coming off a heartbreaking loss in which it led by 15 with under seven minutes to play, Kutztown is currently in a three-way tie for sixth place in the PSAC East – the final position to qualify for the postseason. The Golden Bears can make up ground with a win over Millersville, who is currently in a tie for fourth in the standings just one game ahead of KU. Millersville swept the season-series in 2015-16, with both wins coming by 11+ points, but the Marauders are also coming off a loss as they fell to West Chester, 66-78, on Wednesday, Jan. 18 – their third straight defeat.

MEN
#13 Kutztown (10-2 PSAC, 13-2) at Millersville (5-11 PSAC, 4-8)
KU Game Notes | Live Stats

Kutztown moved into a tie for second in the PSAC East with East Stroudsburg – who the Golden Bears defeated 92-87 last Wednesday, Jan. 11 – with a 98-92 victory over Bloomsburg on Wednesday night. The win gave KU its second six-game winning streak of the season – something it had not accomplished since 2008-09. The Maroon and Gold have not won seven in a row since November and December of 2014. Wednesday also marked the sixth consecutive game that Kutztown shot 50+ percent to match a streak from Jan. 10-27, 2010.

Millersville sits one-game back of the final playoff berth in the PSAC East as it has lost seven straight after most recently falling to West Chester, 67-80, on Wednesday night. The Marauders will look to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat to Kutztown, who has swept the season-series in each of the last two campaigns.

Any fan who brings a donation to Wednesday's game will gain entrance to a drawing for a Giant gift card, while any student-athlete who brings a donation will also receive a PSAC t-shirt.
