Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Rain shortened Friday's women's tennis match between Kutztown University and East Stroudsburg University. Two doubles matches were contested and rain did not allow singles action to begin as KU fell 5-0 due to forfeited contests in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match at Stroudsburg High School.
Vicki Norman teamed with
Jessica Caples at the top flight of doubles. They won three games in an 8-3 defeat.
Emily Wesoloski and
Caitlin Davies competed at the second flight and won two games in its 8-2 loss.
KU forfeited the third flight of doubles, and No. 5 and 6 singles matches.
The Golden Bears return to action in hopefully drier conditions on Sunday, April 12 at Bloomsburg University for a 12 p.m. non-conference match.
