Lauren Stamm led 15 members of the nationally-ranked Kutztown University women's bowling team on Friday as the group competed at the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Individual Sectionals in New Jersey.
In an event that comprised 132 bowlers competing for a top-four spot to earn a berth to nationals, Stamm finished 13th with a total of 1186 in six baker games. Three of her six games were over 200.
Amanda Wilson was second on the team and 38th in the field at 1118 with a high of 220 in her fourth game.
Khrystyna Liske followed Wilson in 41st place at 1116 to cap Kutztown's three bowlers in the top-50.
Allison Seidel was 55th at 1091 with a high of 247,
Ashley Nedley was 65th at 1081,
Taylor Strothmann was 79th at 1059, and
Jenn Fitts was 94th at 1028 for KU's top-100 finishers.
Kutztown remains in Stratford to compete in the team section on Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15.
