Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Kutztown University women's tennis team competed in its second match of spring break on Wednesday morning, as it dropped a 9-0 decision to Clarion University in Hilton Head.
It marked the second of three scheduled matches for the KU women in Hilton Head. Kutztown's top two singles players were
Vicki Norman and
Danielle Patterson, and both Golden Bears notched three points in their two-set setbacks. Norman fell at the top flight, 6-2, 6-1, and Patterson fell 6-3, 6-0.
Gabriella Wertheim played at No. 3 singles and fell 6-1, 6-0, as former KU swimmer
Caitlin Davies stepped up at the fourth flight and won one point in a 6-1, 6-0 defeat.
KU dropped both doubles matches, 8-0.
The Golden Bears (2-2) wrap up their spring break trip on Thursday night, when they face Ithaca College on March 12 at 6 p.m.
