KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Kutztown University men's basketball team heads to Lock Haven University on Wednesday, Dec. 16, for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup at 7:30 p.m. between two of the top teams in the conference.

Kutztown (7-1, 5-1 PSAC East) comes into the contest on a four-game win streak. It defeated Penn State Berks on Saturday night, 115-75, and has one of the most prolific offenses in all of Division II.

The Golden Bears currently lead the PSAC and are ninth in Division II in scoring offense at 92.4 points per game. They also lead the PSAC and are sixth in Division II in scoring margin at 19.3.

KU will look to halt a four-game losing streak against the Bald Eagles on Wednesday. Kutztown hasn't defeated Lock Haven since the 2012-13 season. Kutztown dropped a heartbreaking 100-98 decision to Lock Haven on Jan. 10, 2015 in overtime and an 84-82 matchup on Feb. 11.

Lock Haven (8-2, 4-2) has won its last six games heading into Wednesday's matchup. The Bald Eagles are third in the PSAC in scoring defense at 69.0 points per game and second in defensive field goal percentage at 39 percent.

West Chester and Kutztown are currently tied atop the PSAC East standings at 5-1. Lock Haven sits a game behind at 4-2 in third place.

Junior forward
Josh Johnson (Norristown, Pa./Norristown) has been the most consistent player for Kutztown in its first eight games of the season. He is averaging team-highs of 16.5 points (13th in PSAC) and 9.0 rebounds (seventh in PSAC). Johnson is also shooting 60 percent from the field (fourth in PSAC).

Johnson has scored in double-figures in all eight games this season and in his last nine overall dating back to last season. He currently has 944 career points, 56 shy of becoming the 24th player in school history to reach the 1,000-point milestone.

Forward
Ryan Connolly (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) has had a fantastic comeback season for KU following a redshirt year last season due to injury. He is second on the team in both points per game (14.8) and rebounds per game (5.3). Connolly has also been one of the best three-point marksmen in the PSAC, shooting 23-of-48 from downtown (48 percent).

Sophomore guard
Ethan Ridgeway (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) has been the most consistent contributor off the bench for KU. He is third on the team in scoring average (10.3) and leads the Golden Bears with 5.0 assists per game (fourth in PSAC).

Anthony Lee (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) has come on strong of late, scoring in double-figures in his last three games. He is averaging 9.4 points a game and 4.4 rebounds.
Austin Beidelman (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) has started all eight games for KU at point guard, averaging more than nine points and three assists per game.

Anthony Selby (Jersey City, N.J./Williamstown (Burlington County CC)) has been a strong defender for Kutztown, averaging a team-high 1.75 blocks per game. He is also averaging 8.1 points and 4.0 rebounds.

Lock Haven is led by Tracy Peal, a former Golden Bear, Bootsie Walker and Brahieme Jackson. Peal is averaging a team-high 11.5 points per game and 4.0 rebounds. Walker is second on the Bald Eagles at 10.9 points per game. Jackson is averaging 10.4 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds.
