Complete ResultsMILLSBORO, Del. – The 16th-ranked Kutztown University women's bowling team went 1-2 in bracket-style competition on Sunday to finish in 14th place at the UMES Hawk Classic, hosted by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
The Golden Bears (24-17) opened the day with a 4-1 win over 20th-ranked Norfolk State, the rubber match of three weekend meetings between the teams. KU followed with a 4-2 loss to 18th-ranked Saint Francis Brooklyn, and then ended up meeting Norfolk State again, falling 4-3.
Kutztown returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the one-day Saint Francis Terriers Knockdown in Brooklyn, N.Y.
