Team Results | Individual ResultsREADING, Pa. – The Golden Bears went 5-0 again on Sunday, 10-0 for the weekend, and defeated five teams ranked higher than it as the 18th-ranked Kutztown University women's bowling team finished in fifth place in total pinfall on the final day of its home invite at Berks Lanes.
Senior captain
Taylor Strothmann (Maywood, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) led the team with 954 pins on Sunday, an average of 190.8 over five traditional matches to earn one of six All-Tournament Team honors.
Kutztown (10-0) opened the day with an 898-873 win over 12th-ranked Saint Francis (PA).
Amanda Wilson (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) threw a team-high 188 and was one of three Golden Bears with 180+ scores in a win over #14 LIU Brooklyn. The match was tied at 889-all, but Kutztown won with a 134-96 win in the tiebreaker frame.

Lauren Stamm (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) threw a day-high 204 in KU's 893-846 win over 16th-ranked Saint Francis Brooklyn, and a 199 in KU's 895-877 win over 17th-ranked Delaware State.
Kutztown closed the day with an 873-846 win over SFU Brooklyn in the position round, where Strothmann posted her best score of the day at 202.
Stamm averaged 183.6 pins on Sunday, second on the team behind Strothmann. Wilson was third on the team at 175, followed by
Dakota May (Conklin, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley)'s 173.5 in her four matches.
Saint Francis (PA) won Sunday with a pinfall of 4731. LIU Brooklyn was second at 4623, followed by Delaware State at 4492 and Adelphi at 4449.
Kutztown returns to action next weekend, Saturday, Oct. 24, with a road trip to Conn. for the one-day Sacred Heart Invitational.
