#5 Field Hockey Matches up with Seton Hill on Senior Day

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The fifth-ranked Kutztown University field hockey team will honor five seniors on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 17, as the team takes on Seton Hill University at 1 p.m. in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup at Andre Reed Stadium.

Kutztown's senior class consists of Anna Behm (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown), Rayann Fink (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood), Kayla Denlinger (Manheim, Pa./Hempfield), Marissa Greiner (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and Madeline Dworak (Dupont, Pa./Pittston Area), who will be honored pre-game. All five seniors have been with the Golden Bears for four seasons.

Behm has started in all 61 of her career games. She is a 2014 All-American, a two-time All-PSAC forward and a three-time PSAC Scholar Athlete. She will graduate this May with a degree in leisure and sport studies.

Behm has had an historic season for Kutztown. She leads all of Division II in goals (20), goals per game (1.43), points (47) and points per game (3.36). She is also tied for first in Division II with seven assists and leads the PSAC with eight game-winning goals.

Behm currently ranks third all-time in KU history with 54 career goals and fourth all-time 123 points. She is third all-time in Kutztown single-season history with 20 goals and 47 points. She also holds Kutztown's all-time record with an active streak of nine straight games with a goal.

Fink was named to the 2014 All-PSAC Second Team and was voted last year's Team MVP. She has started in 64 of her 65 career games with Kutztown. She has three goals and six assists in her career and is tied for third all-time in KU history with 17 defensive saves. Fink will graduate in May with a degree in electronic media.

Denlinger earned the 2013 Coaches Award and was named the PSAC Athlete of the Week earlier this season. A team captain, Denlinger has started in goal for KU in 37 of her 47 career games.

This season, Denlinger ranks third in Division Two with an .848 save percentage and ranks fifth in the PSAC with a 1.15 goals-against-average. She has 269 career saves and has recorded three shutouts over her career. She will graduate in May of 2017 with a degree in accounting and finance.

Greiner is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and is a Dean's List recipient. She was also named to the last year's NFHCA National Academic Squad and received the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award. She has started in 30 of her 56 career games played for Kutztown. Greiner will graduate in May with a degree in social work and a minor in psychology.

Dworak has played in 48 career games for Kutztown and has made two starts. She has two career goals, both coming last season. She will graduate in May with a degree in criminal justice with a concentration in paralegal studies and a minor in psychology.

Kutztown (11-3, 6-1 PSAC) enters Saturday on a seven-game winning streak, and has defeated Seton Hill (0-12, 0-6 PSAC) the last three matchups. KU also will go for its eighth consecutive win overall.

The Golden Bears' recent seven game win streak has propelled them into second place in the PSAC standings, trailing only East Stroudsburg. Kutztown faces off against East Stroudsburg Saturday, Oct. 24. That matchup could factor largely into the seeding for the PSAC playoffs.

Junior Megan Tiwold (Northampton, Pa./Northampton) has been a force on offense for Kutztown all season. She is second on the team with seven goals (t-10th in PSAC) and 16 points. She also ranks second on KU with 21 shots and 16 shots-on-goal.

Kutztown's entire defense has been just as impressive as the offense this season. Courtney Ueberroth (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico), Lauren Latchford (Newport, Pa./Newport), Morgan Aldinger (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) and Fink have been an integral part of the team's success from the defensive side of the field and have helped contribute to the team's four shutouts. Ueberroth has even chipped in on offense with three goals and eight total points. Fink leads the team with three defensive saves.
