Varun Desai (Mumbai, India/K.C. College) was victorious in his first action at the top singles flight this season (6-0, 6-2). Maguire (6-2, 6-1) and Lichtenwalner (6-3, 7-5) took the No. 2 & 3 singles matches in straight sets, while Patricio Hernandez (Mexico City, Mexico/Colegio Vista Hermosa) stepped in at the fourth singles slot, earning his third victory there this season (6-2, 6-1). Ben Nace (Spring Grove, Pa./Delone Catholic) fell in the second set at No. 5, but rallied for a win in the super-breaker (6-1, 6-7, 10-6) and Ken Beebe (Landenberg, Pa./Kennett) wrapped things up with a straight-set victory at No. 6 (6-0, 6-1).

On the women's side, Kutztown (8-4, 3-0 PSAC) had a much tougher battle to stay undefeated in the conference, while the Millersville (2-11, 0-2 PSAC) women are also still looking for its first conference victory.

Hannah Pipkin (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) was the only double-winner for the Golden Bears on Sunday. She first teamed up with Tori Zander (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) at the top-doubles flight to win their fourth straight together and give KU its only doubles point on the day (8-6). Pipkin then cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 victory in the top singles match to knot things up.

Alyssa Konas (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and Chelsea Davis (Spring City, Pa./Spring-Ford) fell in a tight 8-6 match at No. 2 doubles, but they both rebounded in singles competition to help the Maroon and Gold. Konas won her third straight at the No. 3 slot (6-3, 6-2), while Davis battled in a three-set win at No. 4 singles (6-3, 3-6, 6-4). Erika Diffendall (Mountville, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) triumphed 6-4, 7-6 at the No. 6 singles spot to give Kutztown a hard-fought 5-4 victory over the Maruaders.
