LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – In an unfortunate one-sided affair, the Kutztown University women's lacrosse team fell to seventh-ranked Lock Haven University, 17-0 on Wednesday afternoon in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup from Charlotte Smith Field.
 
Kutztown falls to 2-9 in the PSAC, and 4-11 overall. The Bald Eagles have won 12 in a row and are in a first-place tie with Mercyhurst University at the top of the conference at 10-1, 14-2 overall.
 
Lock Haven tallied 10 goals in the first half, and seven in the second, receiving goals from eight different players.
 
Jessica Pandolf, the PSAC leader in goals-per-game, recorded four goals, two assists, and a game-high seven draw controls, while Chelsea Borrino, the PSAC leader in assists-per-game, dished out three helpers and knocked in two goals. Shannon Bissnette recorded a game-high five assists, and Kelly Hamilton secured a hat-trick.
 
Jillian Spencer (Sewell, NJ/Washington Township) paced the Maroon and Gold with three shots and one of the team's four draw controls. JoAnn McLaughlin (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape) led the team with three groundballs and Lauren Schlitt (Baldwin, NY/Oceanside) recorded the only caused turnover.
 
McLaughlin recorded nine saves in goal and Chrissy Baffuto received the victory in net for LHU.
 
The Golden Bears will wrap up the season this Saturday, April 26 with Senior Day against Gannon University at Keystone Field, starting at 1 p.m.
