LAST TIME OUT FOR KUTZTOWN:   Kyle Ueberroth (Cocalico, PA/Cocalico) blocked a 33-yard field goal attempt with two seconds remaining as Kutztown held off LIU Post, 14-12, in a PSAC Eastern Division contest. The Golden Bears, winners of four in a row and six of their final seven, opened the scoring with 2:54 remaining in the first quarter when All-PSAC second team quarterback Kevin Morton (Abington, PA/Abington) hit wide out Brett Fox (Laureldale, Pa./Muhlenburg) on a 23-yard touchdown strike. The Pioneers finally closed the gap to 14-12 with 3:53 remaining after a seven-play, 26-yard drive set up by a 21-yard punt return by Chris McGrane. Four rushes by Anthony Brunetti totaling 15 yards, and two runs by Jeff Mack totaling seven yards set up a 3-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Heuer to Pat Fitzgerald in the right corner of the end zone. The conversion failed, forcing Post to stop KU one more time. The Pioneers mounted a 12-play drive to the Kutztown 16, before lining up for a 33-yard field goal attempt by Tim Sternfeld with two seconds remaining.  After three-straight timeouts by the Golden Bears, Sternfeld's kick was blocked by Ueberroth, resulting in Kutztown's seventh win and a celebration of maroon and gold on the gridiron. Defensively for the Golden Bears, Jason Ulmer (Feasterville, PA/Neshaminy) led the way with 16 stops. For LIU Post, Heuer finished with 98 yards on the ground, while going 15-of-32 for 79 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Defensively, David Sumter had three sacks for 23 yards in losses.

LAST TIME OUT FOR CLARION: West Chester running back Rondell White rushed for 227 yards and a TD in leading the Golden Rams to a 33-12 win over Clarion at Memorial Stadium in the season finale for both teams. Clarion's first score came late in the fourth quarter when Fiscus hit freshman wideout Nick Perry down the left sideline 64-yards for the TD. Clarion tried a two-point conversion run that failed and left the score at 26-6 with 5:41 remaining. Clarion had 348 yards of offense including 100 rushing and 248 passing. Fiscus hit on 16-of-33 passes for 184 yards and one TD. Tight end Rob Irwin caught six passes for 53 yards, while Perry grabbed four for 80 and one TD. NEW FACES: Of the eight PSAC Eastern Division schools, three programs will be under the guidance of first-year head coaches. Along with Drew Folmar at the helm of the Golden Bears, Bloomsburg's Paul Darragh takes over as the interim head coach for Danny Hale, who retired during the offseason after 25 years of coaching, 20 of which at Bloomsburg. Millersville's Greg Breitbach will also be making his coaching debut after taking over for Ron Rankin, the interim head coach last season and current defensive coordinator.

BALL HAWK: Redshirt senior safety Alex DiNolfi (Norristown, PA/Norristown) returns to the field after missing most of last season due to injury. He hopes to return to 2011 form when he set the KU single-season record for interceptions in a season with 11.
