2013 (Game-by-Game): Started in all seven of his games played for the Golden Bears and completed 176-of-300 passes for 1,804 yards and 13 touchdowns, while also rushing for two touchdowns. His 394 passing yards in his season debut were the most by a freshman since Kevin Morton threw for 451 in 2010. He was also the first true freshman to start a season-opener at quarterback for Kutztown since 1998...Completed 19-of-38 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for a touchdown in a win over Cheyney (10/12)...Completed 26-of-49 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns against West Chester (9/28)...Completed 41-of-58 passes for 351 yards and two touchdowns against Bloomsburg (9/21)...Completed 30-of-45 passes for 295 yards against California (Pa.) (9/14)...Completed 40-of-57 passes for 394 yards and four touchdowns and also recorded a rushing touchdown against Clarion (9/7).

Bishop McDevitt High School: The son of Paul and Lauri Werner, Alec Werner was an All-State quarterback at Bishop McDevitt High School. Named to the Harrisburg Patriot Big 11 team, he holds the single season passing record at Bishop McDevitt, who won three District Championships in his career. He is an Honor Roll student.
