KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's lacrosse team will honor its six seniors before beginning the 1 p.m. home game against Edinboro University Saturday, April 13, at Keystone Field.

Gina Carmina (Flanders, NJ/Mt. Olive),
Kelsey Hogan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape),
Katie Feairheller (Ocean City, NJ/Ocean City),
Randy Vite (Highland Mills, NY/Monroe-Woodbury),
Marisa Kalodner (Havertown, PA/Haverford), and
Emily Savini (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) on Senior Day starting at approximately 12:45 p.m.
About the seniors:
Carmina is a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team and has made a significant impact controlling the field from her attacker position. She has recorded a career-high 26 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers this season. She is fourth on the team with nine goals and one assist for ten points and is on her way to breaking her career-high of 13 goals she scored in the 2012 season. Carmina will graduate in the spring with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.
Hogan has also been with the team for four years. She is currently third on the team with 10 goals and two assists for 12 points. She currently leads the Golden Bears with a .588 shot percentage, and scored a career-high 17 goals with four assists in the 2011 season to finish fourth on the team. Hogan will graduate in May with a degree in Secondary Education in Social Studies and a minor in History.
In her four seasons with the Golden Bears, Feairheller has more than doubled the amount of assists she's made in any past season as a senior, and leads KU with a career-high seven assists. In addition, she has scored two goals for seven points, ranking fifth on the team. Feairheller will graduate in May with dual degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education.
Vite has been with the women's lacrosse team since her freshman year. She has picked up 24 ground balls and has accounted for 12 draw controls this season. In 2011, she recorded a career-high 62 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers. She is consistently an aggressive player and contributes her skills from her position on defense. Vite will graduate in the fall with degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education.
Kalodner has played for the KU women's lacrosse team since 2011. She has started in every game of her senior career. From her aggressive position on defense, she has picked up 22 ground balls and leads the Golden Bears with 16 caused turnovers this season. In 2012, she recorded a career-high 52 ground balls, and had a career-high 30 caused turnovers in 2011. Kalodner will graduate in May with a degree in Psychology.
Savini began her career with the Golden Bears in 2010 as an attacker scoring a career-high 13 goals. She has since changed her position to defense and has played and started in every game of her senior career. She has recorded 12 ground balls this season. Savini will graduate next fall with dual degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education.
After Saturday's game, the Golden Bears play on the road for four consecutive games before returning to Keystone Field Thursday, April 25 for their final home game against Chestnut Hill College beginning at 4 p.m.
