TOWSON, Md. – The Kutztown University women's bowling team ranked 14th at the completion of the Morgan State Invitational at AMF Towson Lanes in Towson, Md., Sunday and
Christine Gordon (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was named to the All Tournament Team.
The Golden Bears went 1-1 on the day and 6-5 on the weekend, bringing their overall record to 61-32.
In 14th place, KU defeated Monmouth (4-1), but fell to Hampton (4-2).
Sophomore
Christine Gordon was named to the All Tournament Team and had a frame average of 21.78 from 23 frames.
Freshman
Lauren Stamm (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) led the Golden Bears with a frame average of 22.4 from 23 frames and junior
Deanna DiRado (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Salem) had the third highest frame average for the Maroon and Gold, averaging a 19.8 from 14 frames.
The Golden Bears compete again when they travel to Long Island, N.Y., for the Adelphi Invitational Saturday-Sunday, February 23-24.
