KU Women's Soccer to Face Slippery Rock

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – After defeating Shippensburg (2-0) and Lock Haven (3-1) in PSAC play, the Golden Bears face Slippery Rock University on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Golden Bears are 2-0 in conference and 3-2 overall.
 
In offense, Kutztown has consistently taken the shot advantage against each opponent by double or more. Sam Costello (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) has claim to 15 shots, followed by Janine Valerio (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Township) with 13, Diana Malanga (Lavallette, N.J./St. Rose) with 10, and Crystal Zerbe (Myerstown, PA/Tulpehocken) with 9.
 
The most recent match against Lock Haven indicates that the Golden Bears will flood shots from all angles this Saturday. Zerbe leads KU with 4 points after scoring 2 goals this season.
