KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's tennis team was perfect en route to its sixth straight win, a 9-0 victory over Cheyney.

None of the Golden Bears dropped a game in their individual matches as KU pulled off the clean sweep.
With the victory, Kutztown earned a home match in the upcoming Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Quarterfinals.
Hannah Pipkin (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) won an 8-0 final against Taylor Billington at first singles as five singles matches were contested via pro set.
Rachel Grula (Drums, PA/Hazleton Area) (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) shut out Giovannie Laguerre at second singles and
Stefanie Fisher (New Holland, PA/Garden Spot) (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) matched her at third singles against Taniqua Purdi. At number four singles
Cynthia Good (Montrose, Pa./Elk Lake) (Dimock, Pa./Elk Lake) blanked Jessica LaRoda and
Nancilee Romano (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser) (Robesonia, Pa./Conrad Weiser) followed suit at fifth singles vs. Erica Kellem.
Tori Zander (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) won via forfeit at sixth singles.
In doubles,
Chelsea White (Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove) (Landenburg, Pa./Avon Grove) and
Jennifer Stow (Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) shut out Billington and Purdie 8-0 at number one. Good and Romano matched their KU teammates at second doubles with a shut out win over LaRoda and Laguerre.
At third doubles, Fisher and Grula accepted a forfeit.
The Golden Bears travel to Bloomsburg on April 10 before returning home to host Mercyhurst on April 13.
