BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (April 21, 2012)—The Kutztown University women's team finished fourth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships consolation match after falling 5-0 to Bloomsburg University at the Bloomsburg University Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Bears concluded the season with an overall record of 9-11 and 5-1 in conference play. Kutztown finished second in the PSAC East behind division-leader Bloomsburg.

The Huskies (11-8, 6-0) controlled the singles and doubles competition as the Golden Bears could not stay in reach. The 2011-12 season marks the end of senior Chelsea White (Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove)'s (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) career. White has been a dedicated member of the KU tennis program.

Kutztown's 2011-12 season has been a much improved one hopefully marking the rise of its presence in the conference in seasons to come.

The Golden Bears expect to returns nine for the upcoming year.
