KUTZTOWN, Pa. (March 27, 2012)—The Kutztown University women's tennis team defeated Shippensburg University, 9-0 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Division opener at Keystone Courts on Tuesday afternoon.

Rachel Grula (Drums, PA/Hazleton Area) (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) was the third singles winner after taking a 7-5, 6-2 win over Cassie Sidone.
Stefanie Fisher (New Holland, PA/Garden Spot) (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) also saw her victory come in straight sets after by defeating Lisa Snader, 6-0, 6-0.
Tori Zander (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) defeated Daniela Delgado by scores of 6-1, 6-2 and J
ennifer Stow (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) was the final singles winner with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Hannah Wolfe.
In doubles competition, Pipkin and Borooah defeated Werner and Saintz, 8-1. Grula and Fisher topped Sidone and Snader, 8-1 and Zander and Good capped Babelski and Frickson 8-1.
Kutztown will host East Stroudsburg University on Friday, March 30 for a PSAC East Division contest beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Keystone Courts.
