WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Kutztown University won the first set, but West Chester bounced back to take the next three, handing the Golden Bears a 3-1 loss in PSAC East play.
 
KU won the match's first nine points, including a pair of aces by Brittany Harman (Hanover, PA/South Western), and cruised to a 25-17 win in the opening set.  The Golden Rams, however, went on to win the next three to take the match, 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16.
 
Harman turned in a double-double with 13 kills and 22 digs, both of which were team bests.  She also led the team with three aces. 
 
Nicole Brumbley (Oxford, PA/Oxford) led Kutztown with eight blocks, while Audrey Stringer (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) added six to go with eight kills.
 
Dana Wright (Warminster, PA/Saint Basil Academy) paced the Golden Bears with 20 assists, while Kimberlee Gomber (Washington, PA/Washington) dished out 13.  Chelsea Braga (Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach (Fairleigh Dickinson)) had 11 digs.
 
Lexi Kegerise led three West Chester players in double figures with 15 kills. 
 
The Golden Bears return home to face Cheyney on November 7 at 7 p.m.
