JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown finished its trip to the Regional Duals with a pair of resounding wins over Ohio Valley and Anderson.
The Golden Bears made quick work of both the Fighting Scots 37-9 and dismantled the Trojans 49-3. Kutztown had 10 bonus wins on the day in just 16 contested bouts, while four other bouts were forfeited to KU.
Against Ohio Valley,
Zach Marlatt (Slatington, PA/Northern Lehigh) (Slatington, Pa./Northern Lehigh) scored a pin at 174 over Justin Smith in 1:30. The Golden Bears already had a commanding lead at that point after winning five of the first six bouts to open the action.
Desmond Moore (Easton, PA/Easton) (Easton, Pa./Easton) opened the action with a major decision at 125, winning 15-7 over Drew Smith.
Brandon Davis (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) got the nod at 133 and picked up a technical fall over Josue Rodriguez, 19-4 in 5:47.
Giovanni Ortiz (Reading, PA/Reading) (Reading, Pa./Reading) had the fourth of KU's four bonus wins with a major decision at 184, shutting out Seth Jack 8-0.
Brandan Clark (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) needed overtime before claiming a 3-1 win over Blake Lukas. Also picking up a decision for Kutztown was
Mitch Voelker (Shoemakersville, PA/Schuylkill Valley) (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) at 141.
Kutztown carried its momentum over against Anderson, scoring five wins by fall and another major decision.

Evan Yenolevich (New Tripoli, PA/Northwestern Lehigh (Edinboro)) (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) needed just 33 seconds to pin Keenan Simmons for a 12-0 lead early.
Leonard Drummond (Easton, PA/Easton) (Easton, Pa./Easton) entered the lineup at 149 and put Mel LaVergne, one of two regionally ranked wrestlers on the Trojans, on the mat in 5:54.
Micah Bollinger (Mifflinburg, PA/Mifflinburg Area) (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg), who pinned the nation's No. 3 wrestler at 165 on Friday night, picked up his second fall of the weekend with a win in 2:52 over Dalton Harper.
Giovanni Ortiz (Reading, PA/Reading) (Reading, Pa./Reading) added another pin in 2:16 over Bryan Glace at 184.
Vinny Campanile (Stanhope, NJ/Lenape Valley) (Stanhope, N.J./Lenape Valley) followed with his 10th pin of the year, downing Jordan Denmark in 4:01 as the junior keeps pace with the national leaders in wins by fall.
With 49 points against Anderson, KU registered its most points since a 60-0 win over Baptist Bible College on November 20, 2004, a span of 123 matches.
The two wins improved the Golden Bears to 5-4 on the season and lifted head coach

Kutztown will look to build off its victories when it opens its home season with a dual against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Gannon on January 28 at Keystone Arena.
