READING, Pa. — The Kutztown University baseball team defeated Berks County rival Albright 8-4 at FirstEnergy Stadium Wednesday night.

The Golden Bears went up 3-2 in the sixth when Kacelowicz's RBI single plated Jared Frey.
The Lions equaled KU's run in its half of the sixth.
KU retook the lead for good in the top of the seventh when Shayne Houck (fr. Boyertown/Boyertown) singled and later scored on Buletza's single.
Quigley's home run, his third of the year, made it 5-3 in the eighth.
KU opened it up with three runs in the ninth on a two-run double by Buletza and a run-scoring single by Cody Montz (fr. Schuylkill Haven/Schuylkill Haven).
Seven pitchers took the hill for the Golden Bears. Mike Moran (so. Fabius, N.Y./Fabius-Pompey) earned the win, pitching the bottom of the sixth inning with two strikeouts.
