KUTZTOWN, Pa. — The Kutztown University baseball team improved its winning streak to nine games Saturday with a doubleheader sweep of Mansfield at North Campus Field.

KU's 6-2 and 2-1 wins Saturday completed the four-game sweep of Mansfield and improved the Golden Bears' record in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East to 8-0.

The Golden Bears (21-5, 8-0 PSAC East) were led by Corey Buletza (so. St. Clair/Pottsville), who went 5-for-8 on the day, with three RBIs and two runs scored. KU held Mansfield (9-17, 0-4 PSAC East) to a combined six hits in the doubleheader.

KU will return to the field with a non-conference home contest against Widener at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
