Senior Zach Fleming's sixth place finish qualified him for the NCAA National Championships and lifted the Kutztown University men's cross country team into 10th place overall at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships. Fleming finished with a time of 31:01.0. He was 1:70 away from Alex Monroe of Lock Haven, who finished first in 29:31.4.

"It feels great," Fleming said. "Four years in this program and I ended it with a national qualifying bid. I knew I had it in me; this is what I was training for. It was my goal all along and I cannot even put into words how excited I am."
