Collin Wickramaratna is serving as a graduate assistant coach with the Kutztown University wrestling program in 2024-25.
Wickramaratna wrestled three seasons for the Maroon and Gold between 2019-23 after starting his career at Division III Ursinus College.
In 79 career matches with Kutztown, the Marlton, N.J., native compiled a 63-16 record, won a pair of NCAA DII Super Region 1 championships at 133 lbs. (2019-20, 2021-22) and was named a Division II All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.
Wickramaratna posted a 24-2 record in 2019-20, his first with KU, on his way to All-PSAC First Team honors. He qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships on the strength of his regional title but the tournament would be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020-21 season fell victim to the pandemic, but Wickramaratna returned in 2021-22 to win his second regional championship and make his first appearance at nationals for the Golden Bears, where he went 1-2.
Prior to his time at Kutztown, Wickramaratna went 30-8 and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships as a freshman with Ursinus in 2018-19. He won the Centennial Conference title at 125 lbs. and was the NCAA Mideast Region runner-up. Between Kutztown and Ursinus, Wickramaratna finished with a 93-24 record.
A two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, Wickramaratna graduated cum laude from Kutztown in May, 2023, with a degree in secondary education. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in public administration at KU.
