Jamie Gill enters his 10th season as an assistant coach with the Kutztown University wrestling team in 2024-25.
Gill is a former Golden Bear wrestler who enjoys giving back to the program as much as possible. Before his return to Kutztown, Gill was the head coach at Pottstown High School for two years, where he mentored nine district champions, one state qualifier and a second place finisher at the District 1 Dual Tournament.
Gill also had stints as an assistant coach at West Chester Rustin High School and Glen Mills High School, along with working for the Steel Mat Club and Turks Head club teams.
Gill was a member of the KU wrestling team from 2001-05. His enjoyed his best season as a junior, leading the Maroon and Gold with 11 dual meet victories and placing sixth at the PSAC Championships.
Gill, a Coatesville, Pa., native, earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice/sociology from Kutztown in 2005. He received a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University in 2018 and is currently employed as the sales operations manager for Berkshire Dairy and Food Products.
He and wife, Angie, have three daughters: Zahra, Caliana and Meadow.
