Justin Kast enters his 11th season on the coaching staff in 2013-14. Kast spent the first two seasons at KU as the graduate assistant coach.

A 2003 Penn State graduate, Kast was a two-time letterwinner on the Nittany Lions’ wrestling squad at 125 pounds. The Easton native also coached for one season at Pen Argyl High School.

Kast received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and completed his master’s degree in secondary education/math at KU.
