Biography
2011: Brandt competed in four events in her junior season. She had her top finish at the Paul Short Invitational where she placed 12th overall (23:37). She also competed in the PSAC Championships (22:57.3) and the NCAA Atlantic Regionals where she placed 64th overall in 24:36.
2010: Brandt finished 82nd overall at the NCAA Championships (23:10.4). Brandt helped lead Kutztown to a 13th-place finish at nationals. This was the Golden Bears second consecutive appearance at nationals and the best finish in school history. She also finished 16th overall at Regionals (23:04.8) which was her fastest time in the 6K this season. Brandt’s top time came at the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 1 where she finished in 22:39.
2009: Brandt was 66th overall at the NCAA Championships (22:48.0). Kutztown was 14th overall as a team, which tied the highest finish in program history. She also finished was 20th at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (22:26). The Golden Bears finished second overall as a team. Brandt was 26th at the PSAC Championships (24:06.4). She was the Golden Bears’ highest finisher at the Iona Meet of Champions, finishing 43rd overall (24:21.45). In her first collegiate cross-country meet, Brandt placed eighth at the Lehigh Valley Open (23:26.7).High School Highlights: Brandt was a 3-year L-L league 1st team all star. She was also an all-star in track for three years and a POP Kelchrer Nominee.
