Keith White announced his retirement on Jan. 6, 2017. He completed 10 seasons as Kutztown University's track and field assistant coach, following a 26-year career at Millersville University. White worked with the jumpers and hurdlers, as well as the multi events (decathlon & heptathlon).
 
While at Kutztown, White coached two All-Americans: Cody Hartzler in the high jump in 2008, and Kori Meshaw in the 400 hurdles in 2012. He also coached eight PSAC champions – Cody Hartzler, Sean Gentry and Rachel Eshleman in the high jump, Anthony Bullaro in the 60m hurdles, Kori Meshaw in the 400 hurdles, Katie Catania and Richard Gatewood in the long jump, and Tyler Brooks in the triple jump.
 
In 2013-14, White's athletes won two PSAC Outdoor Championships and posted four All-PSAC performances. In 2012-13, his athletes combined for seven top-three finishes at the PSAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships, including three PSAC champions.
 
White came to Kutztown after a 26-year tenure coaching the track & field and cross country teams at Millersville University. While at Millersville, White’s team won the PSAC women’s title four times, and he had cross country teams finished as high as seventh (women) and 16th (men) in NCAA national competition.
 
His athletes earned 28 All-America honors, and 68 PSAC individual championships while at Millersville.
 
White received his bachelor’s degree in education from Millersville in 1980.
