2016 All-PSAC East First Team

2016 (Game-by-Game): Swarmer appeared on the mound 11 times for the Golden Bears during his senior campaign with 10 starts.  He posted a 3-5 record with a 3.70 ERA (second on KU).  In 58.1 inning pitched, he struck out a career-high 85 batters (fourth in PSAC) and held his opponents to a .233 batting average.  His strikeout per nine rate of 13.1 in the highest season total in KU history.  Swarmer retired 34.3 percent of the batters he faced this season.  He wraps up his KU career with a 12-11 record, 14 saves, 3.11 ERA and 224 strikeouts over 171 innings pitched.  His career strikeout per nine of 11.79 is the best mark in program history...Named All-PSAC East First Team (5/5)...Drove in his first-career RBI in a win over Albright (5/2)...Threw a complete-game against ESU and only allowed three hits and one run. He also picked up eight strikeouts (3/26)...Collected a victory in a complete-game with 12 strikeouts over Lock Haven (3/11)...Picked up his first win of the season throwing five scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts against IUP (2/25)...Pitched five innings, striking out nine and allowing two earned runs in season opener against Mars Hill (2/6).

2015 (Game-by-Game): Swarmer pitched in 11 games for the Golden Bears during his junior season. He made seven starts, including four complete games. He allowed no earned runs in five of his appearances. He pitched 54 innings and went 5-4 with 78 strikeouts and a 3.83 ERA...Complete-game victory against Mansfield, striking out nine in seven innings (4/19)...Pitched a shutout and struck out 15 batters in a win over Bloomsburg (4/14)...Six strikeouts and surrendered one run in seven innings in a win over Shippensburg (4/6)...Four strikeouts in 1.2 innings for his first save of the season in a win over Barton (3/11)...Pitched four innings in the season-opener, striking out seven (3/7)...Named a "Player to Watch" by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (1/7).

2014 (Game-by-Game): Swarmer appeared in 23 games in his sophomore season and posted a team-leading 10 saves in 37 innings. He held a 2.19 ERA with a 3-2 record with 38 strikeouts. He held hitters to a .245 batting average while also starting in two games during the season. Threw 16 pitches for his ninth save of the season in the semifinals of the PSAC Tournament vs. Pitt-Johnstown (5/2)…Batted 1-for-1 in a win over Albright (4/28)...Recorded the win against East Stroudsburg, striking out nine batters in six innings of work (4/26)...Earned his eighth save of the season against Lock Haven, striking out one batter in 1.1 innings (4/18)...Recorded his seventh save of the season in a win over Lock Haven (4/18)...Earned his sixth save of the season against Millersville, striking out two batters in two innings (4/16)...Recorded his fifth save of the season in a win over Lincoln (4/3)...Earned the save in a win over Mansfield (4/2)...Recorded a scoreless inning of relief in a win over Bloomfield (3/27)...Threw three scoreless innings of relief and struck out two batters in a win over Virginia State (3/20)...Recorded his third save of the season in a win over Saint Rose, striking out two batters in 2.2 innings of work (3/16)...Earned the save against Saint Rose, striking out one hitter in 0.2 innings (3/15)...Recorded the win against Lock Haven, throwing 1.2 innings of scoreless relief and striking out two batters (2/23)...Earned the save in a win over Lock Haven (2/20).

2013 (Game-by-Game): As a freshman, Swarmer led the team with a 1.25 ERA in 18 appearances. In 21.2 innings, he was 1-0, was a part of three team shutouts, and picked up three saves, second on the team. He allowed three earned runs all season, and held a 23/11 strikeout/walk ratio.
