Josh Farrell enters his first season as an assistant coach at Kutztown University in 2019, where he'll oversee the Golden Bear safeties.
Farrell spent three seasons as the secondary coach at Berwick High School from 2016-18, helping the Bulldogs to a pair of district finals. He coached four all-league first team defensive backs and a two-time Class 4A all-state safety.
Farrell played defensive back at Wilkes University from 2013-15. At the scholastic level, the Gap, Pennsylvania, native was a two-way Lancaster-Lebanon League Second Team All-Star at Pequea Valley High School. He received all-league honors at both wide receiver and defensive back as a senior in 2012.
Farrell was invited to play in the Tri-County All-Star Football Game at Manheim Central in March of 2013, following the conclusion of his senior season.
Farrell earned his bachelor's degree in business administration with a marketing concentration from Wilkes in 2017.
