KUTZTOWN, Pa. – With Keystone Hall in the midst of a complete renovation, Kutztown University athletics revealed its 2026-27 competition plan for sports that use the building as a home venue, Friday afternoon.
 
Sports that will shift away from Keystone Hall during the upcoming academic year include acrobatics & tumbling, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, women's volleyball and men's wrestling.
 
The volleyball, basketball and wrestling teams will use alternative home venues. The acrobatics & tumbling and swimming teams will compete exclusively on the road. Men's and women's indoor track & field, who practice and compete at O'Pake Fieldhouse, will not be displaced by the renovation project.
 
Golden Bear women's volleyball will play its 2026 home matches at nearby Brandywine Heights High School in Mertztown, Pa. KU men's and women's basketball will hold home contests at the Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center on the campus of Penn State Berks in Reading, Pa. Men's wrestling will remain on campus, shifting its home slate to O'Pake Fieldhouse.

Parking for events in O'Pake Fieldhouse will be in the E2 lot (Rec Center) with handicapped parking in lot E1 (adjacent to O'Pake Fieldhouse). Tickets will not be sold for regular season men's and women's basketball games, only for PSAC or NCAA postseason games if Kutztown is a host school.
