Emily Henn is a consensus All-Region player for second straight season as she earns D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – For the second season in-a-row, junior center fielder Emily Henn (Matamoras, Pa./Delaware Valley) has earned consensus All-Region status, as she was voted to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All-Atlantic Region First Team Monday, adding on to her National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region First Team honor last week.

It is the second straight season she was voted to the First Team for D2CCA. The D2CCA All-Region teams are nominated for and voted on by the athletic communication professionals in each region. As a first team honoree, Henn advances to the national ballot for All-America consideration. The D2CCA All-America Team will be unveiled on May 27.

The postseason accolades continue to roll in for Henn, who was also the PSAC Eastern Division's Athlete of the Year, KU's first since 2019, and tabbed to the All-PSAC East First Team. She is a 3x All-PSAC performer, earning Second Team as a freshman in 2024.

She currently ranks fifth in the conference with a .418 batting average, is at the top in hits with 89 and second with 60 runs scored. She also ranks in the top 10 in slugging percentage (.681), doubles (17) and triples (6). Henn holds the program record for career triples with 15 so far.

The third-seeded Golden Bears (38-20) advanced out of their regional pod at second-seeded East Stroudsburg last week and, with top-seeded Shippensburg getting eliminated in its pod, will host fifth-seeded Glenville State (49-15) for a best-of-three series in super regionals this Thursday and Friday, with game one scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday from North Campus Field.
