Quintet of Golden Bears earn IWLCA All-Atlantic Region recognition

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Five from No. 13 Kutztown women's lacrosse were voted to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Atlantic Region teams, the organization announced Wednesday.
 
Senior defender Summer Davis (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) earned First Team honors and senior goalie Marisa Bragg (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central), senior defender Rowan Hall (Sloatsburg, N.Y./Suffern), senior attack Katie Yocum (Hanover, Pa./South Western) and junior midfielder Alexis Plesic (Hanover, Pa./South Western) were tabbed to the Second Team. It's the second All-Region recognition for Davis, who was also First Team in 2024, and the first honor for Bragg, Hall, Yocum and Plesic.
 
Davis, a First Team All-PSAC selection, leads Kutztown in ground balls (65), caused turnovers (74) and draw controls (46). She leads the PSAC in caused turnovers per game (3.57), while sitting fifth in the conference in ground balls per game (2.96). Earlier this season, Davis broke the all-time career caused turnover record with 160 and also holds the single-season record with 74 currently. She also ranks third all-time at Kutztown with 194 career ground balls.
 
Bragg, a Second Team All-PSAC pick, has recorded 16 victories in net this season, a program record for wins in a season. She has made 172 saves this season, fifth-most at KU, and 322 for her career, ranking fourth all-time in program history. The senior also contributed 48 ground balls and seven caused turnovers this season, bringing her career totals to 95 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Bragg ranks third in the PSAC in saves and fourth in goals against average (8.39).
 
Hall was Second Team All-PSAC. She ranks second on the team behind Davis in ground balls (48) and third in caused turnovers (40) and draw controls (33). In her career, Hall has amassed 96 ground balls, 77 caused turnovers, and 33 draw controls, ranking eighth all-time in career caused turnovers at Kutztown.
 
Yocum was also a PSAC Second Teamer made history this season by tying the single-game goal record with eight. Yocum leads the Golden Bears in goals (69) and points (77) and ranks second all-time for goals in a single season at Kutztown. She sits third in the conference in goals. Yocum ranks sixth all-time at KU with 118 career goals.
 
Plesic has had a breakout junior campaign, amassing career-highs in goals (26), assists (22), ground balls (36) and caused turnovers (41). She ranks eighth in the PSAC with 1.87 caused turnovers per game. Plesic has also won 13 draw controls, tying a career-best.
 
The five Golden Bears are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the Division II 2026 All-American teams on May 20.
 
Kutztown is set to compete in the NCAA Quarterfinal round for the first time in program history when it travels to take on No. 7 East Stroudsburg this Saturday, May 16, at Whitenight Field.
