Lightning suspends play with Kutztown leading 9-2 at Shepherd, will resume April 20

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – No. 16 Kutztown's PSAC East matchup at Shepherd was suspended Wednesday night due to multiple lightning delays and will resume on April 20.

Officials suspended play with 39 seconds remaining in the second quarter with the Golden Bears (7-3, 3-2 PSAC East) leading the Rams (2-7, 1-4 PSAC East), 9-2.

The game will resume from the point of suspension on Monday, April 20 at a time to be determined. All statistics accumulated through the suspension will count toward the official final once the game is completed.

The Golden Bears return to action Saturday, traveling to face No. 7 East Stroudsburg for the second time this season. Game time is set for noon at Whitenight Field.
