KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Karah Paull, the only coach in the four-year history of the Kutztown University acrobatics & tumbling program, is stepping down from her position, effective May 23.
Â
Paull, who will be relocating to western Pennsylvania with her family, compiled a 20-13 record with .500 or better records in all four seasons (2022-25). She quickly put the Golden Bears on the map at a national level.
Â
Under Paull's leadership, Kutztown earned its first victory over a nationally ranked opponent when it defeated No. 15 West Liberty, 249.280-246.050, on March 25, 2023, and sent its acro 5-element heat to the NCATA Event Finals in 2024. This past season, KU joined the Mountain East Conference as an associate member in acrobatics & tumbling and qualified for the MEC Championship as the No. 4 seed.
Â
"We are grateful for Karah's commitment to building our program from the ground up," said director of athletics
Renee Hellert. "It's been an honor and a pleasure to work with her and have her as a member of our athletic department."
Â
Kutztown is currently conducting a national search for its next head coach.
