CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Freshman
Weston Fry (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) paced the Kutztown University men's cross country team with a 12th-place finish at Saturday's DeSales Invitational.
It was a light field for the Maroon and Gold, who entered just four runners as they prepare for the PSAC Championships in Edinboro later this month.
Fry completed the 8,000-meter race in 26:49.5, just six seconds shy of a spot in the top 10.

Sean Carpenter (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood) secured a top 20 finish in 19th with a time of 27:18.3.
Brett Pevec (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) took 36th (28:07.5) and
Ryan Kenneff (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) was 45th (28:41.4).

Stevens edged host DeSales by two points to claim the team title with 48 points. KU did not factor into the team scoring with its four entries.

The Golden Bears will compete in the PSAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 25.
