PREVIEW | Kutztown meets Seton Hill once again in PSAC semifinals, looking to get over the top

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown and Seton Hill women's lacrosse teams know each other well the last two seasons, meeting for the third time in the last calendar year this Friday in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference semifinal round out in Greensburg.

The Golden Bears (14-4 overall), the second seed out of the East Division and the Griffins (13-4), the top seed out of the West, meet at the final four site at Dick's Sporting Goods Field on the campus of Seton Hill at 1 p.m.

The other PSAC semifinal features the top seed in the East West Chester and two seeded from the West Slippery Rock, following the first semifinal. The winners will meet in the championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Live stats and video will be available in the links above. Ticket prices set by the PSAC are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Students from PSAC schools are free with an ID. All tickets must be purchased through the PSAC Hudl Ticket Account. No tickets will be sold on site.

Kutztown and Seton Hill met in the semifinal round last year, with the Griffins edging the Maroon and Gold 9-7. KU took down SHU 14-12 in the season opener on Feb. 29.

The Golden Bears are led by their seven All-PSAC performers in First Teamers Cyrose Conteh (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown), Sam Graf (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills), Shannon Lake (Medford, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) and Emma Meakim (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland), along with Second Teamers Lailah ElBouazzaoui (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan), Summer Davis (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) and Robin Spector (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional). Graduate student goalie Jenna Blesson (Sparta, N.J./Lenape Valley Regional) has also been the backbone of the defense.

On Wednesday, Kutztown was ranked second in the final NCAA Atlantic Regional poll, the last one before the Selection Show on Sunday night that decides the field.
