Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – No. 10 Kutztown women's lacrosse led 8-6 heading into the final quarter, but was outscored 4-1 in the fourth and fell to No. 12 East Stroudsburg Saturday afternoon in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference regular season finale for both teams at Whitenight Field.

The Golden Bears (13-4 overall, 9-3 PSAC East) suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this season after losing to No. 2 West Chester this past Wednesday.

The two teams, which know each other all two well, having played four times last year (twice in the regular season and twice in the postseason), will meet again in three days in the PSAC quarterfinal round, back at Keystone Field on Tuesday, May 7, at 4 p.m.

In a back-and-forth contest, KU led 2-1 after the opening quarter and the Warriors (11-5, 7-4) tied the score going into halftime at 4-4. The Maroon and Gold had a strong third quarter, outscoring ESU 4-2 to take an 8-6 lead heading into the final quarter.

Sam Graf (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills), who finished with a goal and an assist, finished the regular season with 83 points, breaking the program record for points in a season, passing her teammate,
Emma Meakim (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland), who recorded 82 points last season as the previous record.

Meakim tallied two goals, one behind leading scorer
Lailah ElBouazzaoui (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan), who had a hat trick with three goals.
Shannon Lake (Medford, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford),
Alexis Plesic (Hanover, Pa./South Western) and
Madison Wenner (Marmora, N.J./Ocean City) all found the back of the net once.
Olivia Eilbacher (Cherry Hill, N.J./Camden Catholic) contributed an assist for Kutztown and collected a team-high six ground balls.

Defensively,
Jenna Blesson (Sparta, N.J./Lenape Valley Regional) finished with nine saves in net.
Summer Davis (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) recorded a team-best five caused turnovers and won five draw controls.
