KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Junior pitcher
Haley Gravish (Hamburg, Pa./Hamburg) of the Kutztown softball team was lights out inside the circle last week, earning a win over nationally ranked East Stroudsburg, along with two road wins over Mansfield and Bloomsburg. Her successes led to earning this week's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's Eastern Division Pitcher of the Week honor, announced Monday by the league office.

It is the first weekly award for the Golden Bears this season.

Against the Warriors, the Hamburg native tossed a complete game shutout, allowing only four hits while striking out seven. Then over the weekend, Gravish went all six innings in run-rule victories over Mansfield and Bloomsburg, allowing a combined five hits across the two games to go along with 10 strikeouts. Gravish earned a shutout against Mansfield on Saturday, which was her fourth of the season (T-4th most in the PSAC).

Kutztown has its final home regular season games on Tuesday, April 23, when it hosts Millersville beginning at 1 p.m. KU concludes the regular season on the road at West Chester on Friday and then at Shippensburg on Saturday.
