WEST BABYLON, N.Y. -- Kutztown University freshman Madison Brenneman (York, Pa./Central York) was named to the 2023 East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Championship All-Tournament Team, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.

Brenneman led the Golden Bears to a third-place finish at this year's championship tournament, earning a spot on the all-tournament team behind her 19.82 Baker frame average. Kutztown was the lone team to go through qualifying matches a perfect 5-0 and earned the second seed in the double elimination best-of-seven Baker bracket. After dropping its opening match to Molloy, the Bears fought all the way back to within a match of the championship before being defeated by Molloy again.

In addition to posting the highest frame average for KU, Brenneman led the team with an 84.5% overall fill percentage, 54 strikes and a 78.7% makeable spare percentage across 110 frames.

Mercyhurst's Jenna Stretch captured Most Outstanding Bowler honors after leading the Lakers to their first-ever ECC Championship. Stretch compiled a 21.95 frame average and topped the tournament with a 60.9 strike percentage while filling 88.0 percent of her 92 frames. Joining Brenneman on the all-tournament team were Paige Bartosz (19.89) and Mollie Gizicki (19.60) of Daemen, along with Mercyhurst's Samantha Strebel (21.26) and Haley Youker (20.25).
