WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Kutztown softball answered a doubleheader loss on Tuesday night with a bounce-back, 3-1 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic Wednesday night in non-conference action.

Hannah Reimel (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) got things going in the top of the second inning with a two-run double that scored
Kristin Geesey (Bainbridge, Pa./Elizabethtown) and
Alexa Stevens (Covington Township, Pa./North Pocono), both unearned following an error by the Sharks short stop.
Brianna Stocklin (Deptford, N.J./Deptford Township) then came up in the clutch with two outs in the top of the fifth, bringing home Geesey on a two-out single for the RBI and 3-0 KU lead.

Palm Beach Atlantic got one back in the bottom-half of the inning via an RBI double, but
Natalee Harvey (Swanton, Vt./Missisquoi Valley Union) stopped the damage right there and earned her second victory in-a-row inside the circle going seven innings and allowing just the one earned run.

Reimel led the Golden Bears' (6-8 overall) offense with two hits. Stocklin, Geesey,
Brianna Hughes (Hatboro, Pa./Upper Moreland) and
Sarah Harvat (Bangor, Pa./Bangor) all finished with one hit each.

Kutztown will next play two games on the campus of Nova Southeastern in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., tomorrow, Thursday, March 16. KU will first play Caldwell at 2:30 p.m., followed by a game against the host Sharks at 5 p.m.
