JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Three members of No. 19 Kutztown University wrestling earned victories as KU dropped a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match, 37-9, to ninth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown Friday night in Johnstown.

KJ Fenstermacher (Northampton, Pa./Northampton),
Dalton Gimbor (Bernville, Pa./Hamburg) and
Matthew Weinberg (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) recorded wins for the Golden Bears (6-4 overall, 2-3 PSAC), which fell for the third time in-a-row in conference competition, all to PSAC schools out west.

Fenstermacher got Kutztown on the scoreboard following an opening forfeit as he earned a 5-2 decision at 133 pounds to cut the KU deficit to 6-3. The Panthers (13-0, 5-0) took control of the match in the next three bouts, tallying 18 points on two pins and a forfeit to go up 24-3. Gimbor then picked up a noteworthy 9-5 decision over 10th-ranked Dillon Keane at 165. Weinberg, ranked sixth nationally, then followed suit two bouts later by earning a 7-0 decision over seventh-ranked and former All-American Brock Biddle at 184.

UPJ finished off the match by tallying 10 points via a major decision and pin at 197 and 285, respectively.

Kutztown will host Shippensburg next Friday night, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m., in the home finale and senior night. Head coach
