KU Softball scheduled to host two clinics in the upcoming months

Prep Clinic | Exposure Clinic

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University softball team is scheduled to host two college exposure and skills clinics for prospective student-athletes. A prep clinic for high school participants is set for Monday, Oct. 11, and the 18th annual exposure and skills clinic will be held on Sunday, Jan. 9.

The prep clinic is for high school students only and will take place on North Campus Field from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Student-athletes may also participate in a campus tour beforehand, beginning at 10 a.m. The one-day clinic will cover a variety of elite skills and fundamentals which will allow participants to enhance all aspects of their game while working very closely with the Kutztown coaching staff and current players. The event will help prepare high school players for the next level of competition through the drills and typical practice styles of the Kutztown University softball team. Cost is $75 per individual.

The exposure clinic will take place in O'Pake Fieldhouse. Over 80 college coaches have been invited to attend. This exposure clinic will include professional instruction in all areas of softball. Cost is determined upon how many sessions a player attends.

Registration links for both events can be found at the top of the release.

Any questions regarding the clinics should be directed to KU head softball coach Judy Lawes, who can be reached by phone at (610) 683-4665 or email (lawes@kutztown.edu), or assistant coach Liz Parkins at (610) 683-4850 or parkins@kutztown.edu.
