KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- The diamond club takes over Episode 6 of TimeoutTV as Kutztown University head softball coach Judy Lawes and head baseball coach Eric Folmar join the show.

The weekly segment will give viewers an inside look at Golden Bear athletics through the eyes of the head coaches leading the programs. Steve Degler, a 1988 Kutztown alum, serves as the show's host. In addition to his play-by-play responsibilities with Service Electric's TV2 Sports for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Reading Fightin Phils and Lehigh University Football, and his color analyst role with the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, Degler can be heard on the mic as the public address announcer for select Kutztown football and basketball games.

Each week's show will be featured on the Kutztown University Athletics YouTube channel, HERE, so be sure to subscribe to receive notification when a new show is available. The show will also be promoted through the department's social media channels.

Lawes enters the 2021 season eight wins shy of 1,000 in her career, while Folmar is one of KU's newest coaches, recently completing his first season in 2020. Both coaches are itching to get back on the field with their respective teams following successful, but pandemic-shortened 2020 seasons.
